Ok, just got done putting some pictures and video from the trip into the imovie thing here on my mac…i gotta say, I at first hated it and was missing my windows movie maker…well, after almost making a video i must say i still miss the windows movie maker but, i have finally almost got the hang of this and it isn't as bad as i originally thought it to be. this is going to be short because I am tired but i know i won't have time to write in the morning. So we got up and went horseback rising. It was a lot of fun…although i can still feel it overtime i go to sit down, haha. ouch. anyway, so then it was back to the room to pack up/clean and we made a few more stops on the way back (like a river/waterfall and a little walking trail) But we made it back, I unpacked, and chilled basically the rest of the night. I had been outside talking with the gang, got my shower and have been working on this video. All I have left, basically, is to add audio to it…and I think I have at least one song in mind. Anywho, I guess tomorrow Calgary gets into full swing so, here's to a good nights rest before the carnival actually starts up and I am dead. (Starts Thursday evening by the way.) Until next time…

Well, I wrote my update this morning but after I wrote it my internet stopped working and I was never able to post it…which is why these are being posted at the same time (that is, given the fact that I will be able to post this tomorrow, the 2nd.) But aaanyway, just got done watching The Source Code with Emily…crazy movie, if i try to figure it out, i will hurt my brain i'm sure so, i'm not even going to try, haha. But today was another good day at the Banff National Park! We went to Lake Louis and it was gorgeous! then we went up the gondola near it and got the view of the surrounding mountains. Then headed back to banff and went to the natural hot pool, which was also cool. (not literally, figuratively, haha) But headed back to the hotel, got some dinner and finally picked a movie to watch, but Lindsey and Angela wanted to watch a different one so, it was just emily and I. Okaaay, well, that was a dry/boring rundown of my day, haha. But it was a great one and now i'm winding down with Casey Anthony trail coverage. Tomorrow is trail riding, which should be fun, and then back to Calgary to get ready for the big fair/stampede! Alrighty well, that's all for now. Until next time...

So, I forgot to write last night…oops, so here I am making up for it. Yesterday was wonderful. We took a gondola up to the top of the mountain and walked from there to another peak close by that was a little higher and the view was just amazing!! I wish everyone could see the view. These mountains are just so pretty!! So then we came back down and walked around all the shops that are in downtown Banff, and that was fun too…they had 3 different candy/chocolate shops so, yea, enough said, haha. But I was able to get a nice little Banff shirt to remember this lovely place and a Christmas ornament for my mom…as well as a patch to add to my very little but just starting collection! haha. So we then made the walk from downtown to our hotel and just chilled here for a minute and had dinner at some such place…which I got misu soup and the california roll and I enjoyed it. So from then till now i've basically just been catching up on my Casey Anthony news…this HLN network has really been on top of things with this, haha. But, i'm glad cause i've been out of the loop for a while and I had kinda gotten really interested in it. So aaanway, on the agenda for today is go to Lake Louis (yay!) and maybe do a trail ride there. Then come back here cause apparently they are going to have fireworks for Canada Day! Eh. Which, I always love fireworks so, good day! haha. Oh, but I also want to mention that right before I left I was on yahoo and it was a list of the worlds most beautiful lakes and lake louis was one of them! Go figure. Anyway, that's all from me. Well, we finally made it to Banff and I am sitting in the castle of a hotel (fairemont) and it is huge, and old, and gorgeous. I could probably get lost in here for days…although I hope I don't because the mountains here are awesome!! It is literally so pretty, and there is snow on the top of the mountains. ah, just gorgeous. So I'm not exactly sure the plan for tomorrow, I know Emily wants to go horse back riding but, I guess we will just have to wait and see. I think we are just playing it all by ear this weekend, which makes it even more exciting, haha. Although I think we might take the bus down to the city and talk around and go to all the little shops (you know, it's one of those cute little touristy towns, haha) And, by the way, as we were walking back to our room we heard a guy getting out of a car say "that was the biggest candy store i've even been to!" (well, Buni heard that and told me which, is probably not a good idea to say to me, haha…now thaaat is a place I would volunteer to get lost in for days! haha) Oh, and yea, it is really cold! So good thing I brought my pants, long sleeve shirts and north face jacket!! haha. So anyway, way, we got into town tonight hmm, around 7, finally found our room (the elevator skips the 16th floor so we have to go to the 17th floor, walk down the hall and take the elevator down on an elevator made just for the 16th floor, how crazy is that?! haha!) This hotel literally is insane! (And I wasn't kidding about the castle, I think it used to be one…and looks like one from the outside.) Anyway, so we dropped our stuff off, got dinner, went to find the pool which had then closed, explored arrant the hotel finding our way back to our rooms, I watched a little of the food network and caught up on all things Casey Anthony via Nancy Grace and now I am updating for you lovely people. And there you have it, the basics of the day. I will definitely keep updated as to the happenings of tomorrow but i'm sure it will be beautiful none the less (even though it is supposed to rain.)
